Lapidary societies are built by people who give their time, knowledge and support to the community. We are proud to preserve the names of those who were recognized during the Port Coquitlam and Port Moody chapters of our local lapidary history.
These legacy honourary memberships recognize people whose long-term service, leadership, workshop instruction, project support and other contributions helped the local lapidary community thrive.
Honourary Membership in TCLS:
Under the Society's bylaws, Honourary Membership may be recommended by the Directors and awarded by a majority vote of members at a general meeting. It may recognize long-term members who are no longer able to participate regularly, individuals who provide valuable support to the Society, or long-term active members whose contributions have gone beyond the call of duty.
