For nearly two decades, the annual rock and gem show has used bold themes and original artwork to turn rocks, minerals, fossils and lapidary into stories.
The Port Moody Rock and Gem Club began developing heavily themed shows in 2006, usually anchored by a major shared member display. Each year explored a different idea — from fossils and fluorescence to Canadian geology, collecting stories and the art of creating with stone.
The posters became part of that tradition. Together they form a colourful visual record of the shows held at Kyle Centre and of the creativity that Tri-Cities Lapidary Society is proud to carry forward.
